| Exhibitor: George Henshilwood | Award: 64; Bronze Silver | |
| Description: First issued in 1887 to replace the Bantam, the 1/2d Jubilee would initially pay the rate on printed matter. However, the 1/2d value was widely used to ‘make up’ postage to higher rates. This exhibit shows varied use of this 1/2d stamp (the original Vermillion and the later Blue-Green replacement) on a range of covers to a range of destinations. | ||
